As an educator, I enjoy working with and learning from students inside and outside of the classroom. I have served as a graduate teacher at the University of Florida for courses in a mix of class settings (in-person, virtual, hybrid).

Through these courses, I have been able to engage with a diverse array of students and build my teaching style. I enjoy incorporating classroom discussions that connect course major concepts with contemporary events. I believe students learn best through connections and I provide tools that allow them to engage with real-world issues. No matter what major a student is, my goal as an instructor is to ensure students have applicable skills for their future professional careers. With my experience, I am able to teach courses in American Politics, African American Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration, and introductory research methods.

In addition to teaching, I have served as a Content Tutor for the University of Florida Athletic Association and currently volunteer tutor for K-12 students in Alachua County Public Schools.
